Have you ever craved some decent kung pao chicken, or maybe a fine batch of pan-fried dumplings? Asian food definitely has some tempting entrees. Fortunately there are Chinese, Japanese, and Thai restaurants to spare. The biggest trick is finding one worth your hard-earned cash. Where do you go for your Asian food? Do you hit up the local Chinese drive-through, or possible order from home? One thing is for sure, no matter where you prefer to dine, there are certainly a vast selection of entrees to choose from.

I got an up-close and personal take on Asian food when I took a trip to Taiwan. After spending a month in the far off land, I had a chance to try out a variety of Asian cuisines. I'm not going to lie and say they were all great. I wasn't partial to pig's tongue or shrimp with the entire shell still on it. The fact is we do things a little different here in America. Sure, we want great Asian food, but we prefer it with a nice American twist. Have you ever noticed that most foreign cuisine we scarf down here in the states is actually Americanized? Well, you may not have, but if you've had a taste of the real deal, then you've probably caught on. All cultures tend to dine in different fashions. We Americans, like any other culture, prefer things prepared a certain way. That's why our Asian food is slightly less authentic than something you may find in the orient.

What's your favorite Asian food? Do you prefer Chinese dishes such as moo goo gai pan, or shrimp fried rice, or are you more of a sushi person? Regardless of your Asian food cravings, you shouldn't have a difficult time locating a decent restaurant. If you're not having any luck with the yellow pages, it's time to hop online. Check out all Asian restaurants in your area with the click of a mouse. The key is finding the most reputable eateries with the best ratings. One of the finer Asian restaurants I've been to lately is P.F. Changs. I have to say I was rather impressed with their fine Asian food, and array of dishes with accompaying soothing music. This is an upper-scale restaurant and not a cheap drive-through. So if you're an Asian food lover, it's time to do some browsing. Locate  the best pots in town and try some great Asian food today.
